Professor Nominated to Middlesex Juvenile Court

Governor Deval Patrick has nominated Suffolk Law School Associate Professor Kenneth J. King to serve on the Middlesex Juvenile Court.

King is an associate professor of Clinical Law at the Law School’s Juvenile Justice Center.

Before joining the Juvenile Justice Center, King worked as both a private practitioner and government lawyer representing youth in a variety of matters, including youthful offender and delinquency, care and protection, and termination of parental rights cases.

“Over the course of his career, Ken King has demonstrated an unflagging commitment to juvenile justice,” said Patrick. “There are few as qualified and well-suited to adjudicating these most sensitive and important of matters.”

King would fill the vacancy on the Middlesex Juvenile Court created by the retirement of the Hon. Gail Garinger.
