Peter Kohanloo ’12 writes in Foreign Policy

Peter Kohanloo '12The ten year-long rumblings of a democracy movement in Iran culminated in widely televised protests in 2009 and resulted in a chain of kidnappings, murders, and mass imprisonment.

Peter Kohanloo, who will be graduating from Suffolk Law in 2012, recently published an article on Foreign Policy magazine's website. In it he claims there is a vast disconnect between how Iranian-Americans feel and the stance that the most visible Iranian-American organization is currently taking.

We interviewed him for our Student Voices podcast series. Tune in as he shares his view on the appropriate role of Iranian-Americans in voicing their political opinions about the turmoil in Iran.
