Law of Probation - A substantive presentation of the law of probation and probation revocation

Attend and Learn:
  • The tactics and tips on how to defend and advocate for continued release of your client
  • The ins & outs of working with probation officers
  • How to avoid conditions of probation that your client can not meet;
  • How to work with probation to avoid revocation hearings even if your client is not fully in compliant with the terms
  • What are the alternatives to formal probation? (school programs, etc)
  • What is community service? What can it include?
  • Juvenile Roundtable- What is the role of the probation officer? What is the purpose and kind of information exchanged?
  • What does it mean when the probation officer is in the field?

Tuition:  

Tuition is $20 for each course. Course materials and refreshments are included in the tuition charge. Costs for these courses are underwritten by a grant from the U.S. Department of Justice Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (8-5461-MA-JS).



Walk-Ins:  

Space is limited. Registrations at the door are welcome, but please register in advance to reserve a seat and your written materials.



Refunds:  

If you are unable to attend and you provide more than 24 hours notice, we will issue you a gift certificate for a future juvenile justice course.

CLE Credit Approved for CLE Credit in RI, NH, VT & NY and 2.5 CPCS Mental Health Credits.
