Join us for an exclusive dinner meeting to learn how to assess your law firm’s current financial health, and apply that information to enhance firm profitability, improve operations, or buy, sell or merge a practice. This unique program features Attorneys Bernard A. Krooks and Vincent J. Russo and valuation expert Michael J. Garibaldi, CPA/ABV, actively engaging you in a scintillating discussion of a myriad of complex business issues. This is a limited enrollment session for those who have an ownership stake in a practice, have been a member of the bar for at least 15 years and will be limited to not more than 30 attendees. Enjoy an evening of congeniality while sharpening your business acumen.

Program starts promptly at 6:00 dinner at 7:30.

  Michael J. Garibaldi, CPA/ABV
 

Specializes in assisting attorneys and their clients with the financial aspects of a case throughout the litigation process, from contemplation of action through expert witness testimony. Mr. Garibaldi brings an in-depth understanding of the business and technical aspects of valuation, finance and accounting that is required in complex litigation and arbitration cases. His areas of expertise include valuation of closely held businesses in the context of a marital dissolution, shareholder or partner dissolution/oppression actions, bankruptcy, personal injury, wrongful death or termination, business loss, embezzlement and fraud. He qualifies as an expert witness on valuation matters in New York Supreme, Nassau Supreme, Suffolk Supreme and Westchester Supreme Courts, and has been called upon by the courts to serve as a neutral Expert. Mr. Garibaldi has lectured extensively on litigation services, and teaches his specialty to other professionals.

INFORMATION REGARDING CHECK PAYMENTS

Suffolk University processes checks electronically using the information on the check to create an electronic funds transfer. Each time you send a check, you authorize a one time transfer of funds to be electronically withdrawn from your bank account. You will not receive your cancelled check as Suffolk University is required to destroy the check after it has been processed. Refunds:  

Written requests for cancellations received via fax or email 24 hours prior to the program will be granted a refund, minus a $15 charge. If you cannot attend, you can send a substitute, otherwise you will receive the written course materials.
