Guardianship is a hot topic – around the country and, especially, in Massachusetts. Major changes in Guardianship law and practice are being implemented, while other improvements are contemplated. This Seminar will focus on how the changes will affect Guardianship in the future – and your practice as well.

Participate in an open and active dialogue! Best Practices in Guardianship Cases highlights a number of Probate Judges (including Chief Justice Paula Carey), three noted doctors who are experts in assessing capacity with the latest diagnostic tools, and nationally recognized legal scholar, Professor Lawrence Frolik. Other speakers will include assistant judicial case managers, leading attorneys, and a panel on Ethics including an Attorney from the Office of the Bar Counsel. This conference has today’s guardianship practice covered from A-Z.

Tuition is $249; $199 for Suffolk alumni, attorneys admitted to the Bar after 2005 and members of MGA.



Walk-Ins:  

Space is limited. Registrations at the door are welcome, but please register in advance to reserve a seat and your written course materials.



Refunds:  

Written requests for cancellations received via fax or email 24 hours prior to the program will be granted a refund, minus a $15 charge. If you cannot attend, you may send a substitute, otherwise you will receive the written course materials.
