ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
Social media networks such as Facebook, Habbo, Twitter, and YouTube represent the emergence of a user-generated paradigm creating new legal dilemmas as well as marketing possibilities. Facebook now has over 800 million registered users. Habbo, a site devoted to teenagers, has 200 million users. Twitter, the microblogging site, has 175 million users, followed by LinkedIn with 120 million users. These rapidly evolving social network websites raise new regulatory, employment, privacy, tort and intellectual property issues that will be the subject of this conference.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Attorneys, business executives, policymakers, law students and technical professionals who desire to learn about minimizing risks and protecting rights on the “Social Network.” The conference will be of particular interest to professionals who represent companies using social media for marketing, who manage employees who have access to and utilize social media in the workplace, or who design and implement social media programs for businesses and nonprofit organizations.
