ABOUT THE PROGRAM The practice of law, methods of resolving disputes and the organization of a legal system are integral components of a nation’s culture. Comparative law and study abroad courses offer a unique opportunity to experience culture and study a foreign legal system. The courses also allow U.S attorneys to meet with legal professionals from abroad to teach and learn about their respective legal and political systems. The CLE Abroad in Rome, Italy will cover and overview of European and Italian law and is presented by expert European faculty and features visits to the Consiglio di Stato Supreme Court and Constitutional courts.
