INTERNSHIPS
The Law School’s Internship Program allows students to experience
legal practice while enrolled as a law student. Students can tailor
a custom law school program by combining doctrinal law classes with
different field experiences.
Students have interned in a wide range of legal settings including:
state and federal courts; federal, state and local government agencies;
non-profit corporations; legal aid organizations; and private law firms
and companies. In these organizations, lawyers committed to mentoring
Suffolk Law students supervise work done in the field. More…
Internships are also available in other countries. In conjunction
with the Center for International
Legal Studies (CILS) international
internships are available to JD students for credit (in conformity
with the American Bar Association guidelines) and international externships
are available for LLM students and other post-graduates with law degrees.
