JUVENILE JUSTICE CENTER

One of the initiatives that the Juvenile Justice Center focuses on is improving interactions between police and youth in Boston and ensuring that arrest is always a matter of last resort for youth. As a result of experiences of the Center's attorneys and clients with police, the Center has initiated a training program, New Approaches to Police/Youth Interactions. The Training provides officers insight into the cultural factors influencing youth behavior and police interactions, as well as description of adolescent behavior from psychological and neuroscience pespectives. For more information on the New Interactions training, click below to review the Center's brochure in PDF format.
