STUDY ABROAD: INDIVIDUAL STUDY AT A FOREIGN LAW SCHOOL
Suffolk University Law School students who wish to spend a semester at a foreign
law school should contact Laura Ferrari at laura.ferrari@suffolk.edu or
617-573-8157 in the Dean of Students Office. A limited number
of students may be approved for such study.
Though the option for individual study abroad is limited, Suffolk
University Law School seeks to achieve the following educational
objectives in allowing students to study abroad for credit toward
the J.D. degree:
- To enrich the educational program of those wishing to pursue careers in international law and international business
- To provide students with an international perspective so that they are better able to practice in a global economy
- To enhance students' understanding of different legal systems
- To allow students to develop international legal contacts
