ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
All candidates must have completed their course of study in law, other than a J.D. or its equivalent from a U.S. law school, prior to beginning the LL.M. degree program. Admission to the program is based on overall academic performance with particular emphasis on work experience in the practice of law.
Applicants also must demonstrate that they possess the requisite English language skills to undertake and complete their course of study. Applicants should be aware that no remedial language assistance is available. Applicants who completed their course of study at an institution in which English is not the language of instruction must demonstrate proficiency in English. This may be demonstrated by extentive study in an English speaking country or by the practice of law primarily involving the use of English. Candidates may submit official TOEFL or IELTS score reports to prove English language proficiency.
Candidates must submit certified transcripts or some other demonstrative proof, such as membership to a Bar and/or diplomas showing completion of their course of study in law.
In addition to demonstrating proficiency in English and proof of completion of the candidate's study in law, candidates must also submit:
- A Curriculum Vitae
- Two Letters of Recommendation
- A Personal Statement that details the candidate's past experience in the legal field
