Employment Discrimination Law

3 credits day; 3 credits evening.
This course will study the various laws prohibiting discrimination in employment, including Title VII or the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Civil Rights Acts of 1866, 1870, and 1871. Also included are studies of the various requirements imposed upon government contractors by Executive Order 11246. Special emphasis will be placed upon the procedures and problems of proof applicable to employment discrimination litigation.
