Trial Evidence
Mr. Dino M. Colucci
2 credits day; 2 credits evening.
This course will focus on developing the student's ability to admit and exclude evidence at trial. The goals of the course are to teach the "nuts and bolts" of when and how to object to the introduction of evidence, and also the strategy behind when not to object to evidence for strategic reasons. The beginning of each class will be a short lecture on various evidentiary principles. The majority of time will be participation by the students in actual trial situations.
Grading will be based on class participation and a final argument which will include drafting and arguing a motion in limine to exclude or admit evidence.
