COURSE DESCRIPTIONS
Public Interest Law Seminar

2 credits day; 2 credits evening.
The course grade will be based on written work, class participation, and a final paper.
The course will consider the different venues in which public interest work can be done (non-profit, governmental, and private sector settings), the different types of public interest work (litigation, transactional, public policy), and public interest career development issues facing law students and lawyers. Students will complete a variety of written exercises and a final paper.
