Patent Licensing
Mr. Donald Mahoney
2 credits day; 2 credits evening.

This course will explore the various elements, terms and considerations employed in drafting patent and trade secret license agreements for the transfer/use of innovative technology. Relevant case law raising issues such as antitrust and bankruptcy will be reviewed in order to appreciate potential liability and business issues that can arise and to understand the various different license objectives in today's complex business environment.
