COURSE DESCRIPTIONS


Gaming Law
Prof. Jeffrey D. Wittenberg
2 credits day; 2 credits evening.

This course will explore selected common law concepts and statutory provisions pertaining to gambling activities in the United States. The topics scheduled for discussion will include the meaning of the term “gambling”, licensing, advantage play and patron exclusions, Indian gaming and the applicable federal legislation. The grade will be based on the quality of the final paper due on the last day of classes.

  Elective Course

  May Fulfill Legal Writing Requirement
