INTERNATIONAL INTERNSHIP PROGRAM (IIP) : FINANCIAL AID U.S. citizens and permanent residents participating in an internship and enrolled at least half-time (receiving a minimum of 3 credits) may be eligible to receive Federal Loan funding. Students not receiving academic credit for the internship are not eligible to receive financial aid. Additionally, financial aid is only available to students enrolled in a degree program at Suffolk University Law School or enrolled as a visiting student through a Consortium Agreement submitted by your home institution's financial aid office.
APPLICATION PROCEDURES For Suffolk University Law School JD and LLM students Visit the financial aid office for eligibility information. Meet with the International Internship Director to establish your list of "Anticipated Expenses", which is required as part of your financial aid application. For Students Visiting Suffolk University Law School Visiting students should contact their home institution to obtain a Consortium Agreement and have it sent to Suffolk Law Financial Aid. Students are eligible to receive financial aid through their home institution for the summer internship at Suffolk, however, institutions are not required to complete Consortium Agreements. Students should contact the Office of Financial Aid at their home institutions for eligibility and application procedures. Consortium Agreements completed by the home institution and a listing of "Anticipated Expenses" completed by the student need to be faxed to the Suffolk University Law School Office of Financial Aid at 617-305-3216 or mailed to Office of Financial Aid, Suffolk University Law School, 120 Tremont Street, Boston, MA 02108. |
