ABOUT THE LUND, SWEDEN SUMMER PROGRAM

 

Sargent HallLocated in the legal and business center of Boston, Massachusetts, Suffolk University Law School was founded in 1906 and has grown to be a nationally renowned law school. Suffolk Law School's expansive curriculum combines a strong academic foundation with expertise in an array of specialty areas. Nationally known faculty and a range of practical experiences provide superior preparation for practice in the 21st century.

The core curriculum provides a strong legal foundation for more than 200 upper-level elective courses, as well as five specialty concentrations in the JD program, including international law; five joint-degree programs that combine law with business, public administration, international economics, finance, and criminal justice; and an LLM program in global technology. Suffolk University Law School is accredited by the American Bar Association and is a member of the Association of American Law Schools.


University of LundThe University of Lund, established in 1666, is among the most prestigious universities in Europe. The Faculty of Law is the workplace of 2,000 students and some 70 teachers, including 17 full professors. One of the first and most famous Professors of Law at Lund was Samuel Pufendorf, regarded as one of the founders of Contemporary European Jurisprudence and International Law. The internationally renowned Raoul Wallenberg Institute for Human Rights is also a part of the University of Lund.
