On this special occasion, Suffolk
University
will officially kickoff its Centennial
Celebration with an academic convocation
ceremony, highlighted by former President
George H. W. Bush as the
convocation speaker.
Mr. Bush will also receive an
honorary doctor of public administration
degree at this time.
The day will start with the Centennial
Academic Convocation that will take place
from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at The Boston
Common
Parade Ground. Please note: No Backpacks
allowed.
Suffolk University President David J.
Sargent will lead a grand procession of
dignitaries, university and college
administrators, trustees, key alumni and
student representatives from the Law School
to the Boston Common. The ceremony will
include a special performance of the new
alma mater, conducted by Emilio Aragón.
