Robert Fishman


 S H O R T   B I O G R A P H Y

Robert A. Fishman is a partner in the Real Estate and Finance Department and Chair of the firm’s Land Use and Environmental practice group at Nutter McClennen & Fish LLP. His practice focuses on development, land use/environmental permitting, financing, acquisition and disposition and leasing. Bob received his J.D. from Harvard Law School cum laude, and a B.A. from Harvard College magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa. Bob appears among the best real estate lawyers in Massachusetts in the Chambers USA America’s Leading Business Lawyers Guide and was named a Massachusetts Super Lawyer in a survey by Law & Politics and Boston magazine. He is also listed in the International Who’s Who of Real Estate Lawyers and in the Best Lawyers in America.

Bob is a past chair of the Lawyers’ Team of Combined Jewish Philanthropies of Greater Boston, Inc. (CJP) and now serves on CJP’s Board of Governors. In 2008, Bob received the Community of Excellence Award from CJP in recognition of his contributions to both the broader community and the legal profession.
