Carol Kelly


 S H O R T   B I O G R A P H Y

Carol A. Kelly is a partner at Murray, Kelly & Bertrand, P.C. in Woburn, where she specializes in the defense of medical malpractice claims brought against physicians, hospitals, nurses and other health care providers. Her practice includes the litigation of professional liability cases in state and federal courts, at both the trial and appellate levels. In addition, Ms. Kelly represents health care professionals before state regulatory boards, and counsels clients on health law related issues. She is an active member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, and is a former co-chair of its Civil Litigation Section. Ms. Kelly is also the author of variety of course materials for Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, the National Business Institute and the Massachusetts Bar Association. Before entering private practice in 1985, she served as a law clerk to Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court Justice Joseph R. Nolan. Ms. Kelly is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross and Suffolk University Law School.
