Professor Wayne Lewis is a tenured member of the DePaul University College of Law faculty. Professor Lewis has taught at DePaul for twenty-four years and, during that period, has also served as an Associate Dean and Acting Dean.
Professor Lewis began his legal career as an attorney in the Bureau of Consumer Protection of the Federal Trade Commission in Washington, D.C. In 1978, he was appointed assistant regional director of the FTC's Chicago Regional Office. In 1980, he began his teaching career at Indiana University School of Law - Indianapolis and, in 1982, joined the DePaul faculty.
For the past few years, Professor Lewis has also taught commercial law classes as a visiting professor at Northwestern University School of Law. He previously served as a visiting faculty member at Suffolk University Law School during the Fall 2006 semester.
