John Lanza


 S H O R T   B I O G R A P H Y

John Lanza is a partner in the law firm of Choate Hall & Stewart LLP and serves as Chair of the firm's Intellectual Property Group. His practice focuses on a variety of technology areas, including computer and computer-related technologies, software, internet technologies, electronic commerce technologies and business methods, computer security, cryptography, imaging systems, electronic devices, and printed circuit technology. Prior to joining Choate, Hall & Stewart, Mr. Lanza was partner at Lahive & Cockfield, LLP. Previously, Mr. Lanza was an associate at Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault, LLP. Mr. Lanza received his J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law. He received his M.S. in Electrical Engineering and his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Mr. Lanza has been an adjunct faculty member at Boston University School of Law and Northeastern School of Law.
