Hon. Angel Kelley Brown

 S H O R T   B I O G R A P H Y

Angel Kelley Brown is an Associate Justice of the District Court in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Judge Kelley Brown is a graduate of Colgate University and received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and her LL.M. in Trial Advocacy from Temple University School of Law. Prior to her appointment to the bench, Judge Kelley Brown had over 15 years of experience as a trial attorney and teacher. She has been an Assistant United States Attorney, in Boston, and a clinical instructor at Harvard Law School. Prior to moving to Boston, Judge Kelley Brown was a public interest litigator in civil and criminal defense cases in New York City. She has taught at diverse institutions such as Columbia University, New York University, the Port Authority Police Academy, and the New York Civil Rights Coalition. She serves as guest faculty at Harvard Law School’s Trial Advocacy Workshop and the National Institute of Trial Advocacy (NITA) in Boston, New York City, and in the national program.
