Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Competition
As ratified by the delegating body at the National NBLSA Convention in Detroit,
the 2002-03 Executive Board was charged with the duty of launching the
Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Competition. The competition is the first ever
Mock Trial Competition hosted by the NBLSA. It has been reviewed by some
of the top and largest Mock Trial organizations in the country.
Frederick Douglass Moot Court Competition
Since its inception in 1975, the Frederick Douglass Moot Court Competition (FDMCC) has been a cornerstone of NBLSA programming, offering high caliber competition to highlight oral advocacy and brief writing talents among law students nation-wide. Each year, law students compete within the six regional competitions, culminating in the top three teams from each region competing at the national level during NBLSA’s Annual Convention.
BLSA will be posting more information about the two competitions as soon as more information is available.
