Open Write-On Competition

Completed submissions are due at the JHTL Offices on Friday, June 6th between 5:30 and 7:30 P.M.

Closed Write-On Competition
The second opportunity students have to gain membership on the JHTL is through the Closed Write-On Competition. Administered by Suffolk University Law Review and in conjunction with Transnational Law Review and Moot Court Board, the Closed Write-On Competition invites students in the top 25% of their class to compete for a spot as a JHTL staff member.

Additionally, the JHTL extends an automatic membership invitation to the top student in each section of first-year day and second-year evening (1A, 1B, 1C, 1D, 5A, 5B). This privilege rewards the top student in each section to join the JHTL without having to participate in the Open or Closed Write-On Competitions.
