Overview
The Suffolk University Law School Moot Court Honor Board hosts two trial competitions each year for upper level Suffolk Law students. Each year, the Moot Court Honor Board hosts a Third Year Day/ Fourth Year Evening Competition and a Second Year Day/Third Year Evening Competition during the Fall semester.
These competitions provide students with an opportunity to further their oral advocacy skills and sharpen their courtroom presence outside of the classroom.

Third Year Day/ Fourth Year Evening Trial Competition
The Suffolk University Law School Moot Court Honor Board hosts a prominent trial competition for upper level law students in the third year day division or fourth year evening division each October. Students compete in two-member teams and prepare opening statements, direct and cross examinations of witnesses and closing arguments. Students are judged by prominent judges, lawyers, and professors on their oral advocacy skills.
Eligibility: Students in the Third-Year Day Division or Fourth-Year Evening Division are eligible to compete.

Second Year Day/ Third Year Evening Trial Competition
Each Fall, the Suffolk University Law School Moot Court Honor Board hosts a prominent trial competition for upper level law students in the Second Year Day Division and the Third Year Evening Division. Students compete individually and prepare an opening statement, direct and cross examinations of witnesses and a closing argument. Students are judged by prominent judges, lawyers, and professors on their oral advocacy skills.
Eligibility: Students in the Second-Year Day Division or Third-Year Evening Division are eligible to compete.
