|
Suffolk University Law School has been selected to participate in a new tiered mentoring program established by the Massachusetts Bar Association. In addition to Suffolk Law, the program's partners include the John J. O'Bryant High School, Roxbury Community College and the Massachusetts Bar Association. This innovative program connects high school, college, and law students with practicing lawyers in a "tiered" manner maximizing the learning and mentoring opportunities. Ten law students of diverse backgrounds, many of whom are leaders in the law school community, have volunteered to participate. Alexander Mitchell-Munevar JD '01 and Richard Gedeon, JD '00 are also involved in the program as attorney mentors.
The official program kick off was held at the John Adams Courthouse on October 29th , with a keynote address given by the Honorable Roderick Ireland, Associate Justice of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court.
The Office of Admissions and the Rappaport Center for Law and Public Service have collaborated to support this initiative. |
