RESOURCE LINKS
For your convenience, the law library has compiled a list of
core electronic resources that provides quick, easy access to
a number of comprehensive, heavily-used resources. Access to
some of these resources is restricted to the Suffolk Law School
community or requires individual passwords (e.g., Westlaw, Lexis and Congressional
Universe). Others, like GPO Access, Thomas and other federal and
state web sites, provide a wealth of free, comprehensive information
and full-text documents.
For free access to federal legislative information such as bills,
committee reports, public and private laws, and the Congressional
Record use Thomas or GPO Access. For free access to the Federal
Register, Code of Federal Regulations, Weekly Compilation of
Presidential Documents, the United States Code and many more government
documents use GPO Access. For in-depth federal legislative history
research, use Congressional Universe. The Massachusetts Materials link
provides easy access to Massachusetts judicial, legislative, and
executive branch documents as well as local government information and
municipal codes.
