LAW SCHOOL ALUMNI ASSOCIATION COMMITTEES
 
Admissions Committee
 

Partners with the Admissions Office.  Advises and encourages prospective students as to the advantages and unique opportunities available through Suffolk University Law School. Serves as alumni contact for all prospective students, particularly to establish such contacts on a regional and national level.

 
Career Services Committee
 

Partners with the Office of Career Services. Contacts, meets, and advises prospective employers for the purpose of promoting the hiring of Suffolk University Law School students and graduates; serves as alumni contacts for interested prospective employers.  Helps promote the on-line community and career network. 

 
Chapters Committee
 

Promotes participation by and increases the awareness of services/programs provided for the locally and nationally. Partners with the Alumni Relations Office to provide support and guidance to regional chapters.

 
Development Committee
 

Partners with the Director of the Annual Fund to create and execute efforts to increase the awareness and importance of annual giving.  Encourages Board of directors to achieve 100% participation in the annual fund.

 
Program (Events) Committee
 

Partners with the Office of Alumni Relations to organize alumni events throughout the year.  Works with other board members to encourage alumni attendance.  Strives to have board presence at all alumni events.

 

 
Student Liasion Committee
 

In collaboration with the Office of Alumni Relations and the Office of Student Affairs this committee will assist in building a bridge between current students and the alumni.

 

 
University Alumni Council (UAC)

Members are selected from the alumni boards and represent each board at the UAC meetings.  They report to the alumni boards on a consistent basis the activites of the UAC. Communication between the UAC and alumni boards is essential therefore attendance at UAC meeting is critical.
