| Counseling Appointments |
| |
|
Eight full and part-time counselors are available to take individual student appointments.
Assistance with resumes, cover letters and interviewing skills, as well
as advice on negotiating salaries and benefits and assessing job offers,
is available.
Self assessment services
are also available. The more you understand about yourself, the
better able you will be to make satisfying career choices and conduct
a successful job search. A thorough self-assessment should involve
a careful consideration of your skills, interests, values and an
appreciation for how your personality may match with key aspects
of a particular job. One step in matching personality to a job is
to evaluate your personality type. The Myers Briggs Type Indicator
(MBTI), available through the Career Development Office, is a reliable
personality assessment instrument which provides students/graduates
with a framework for understanding their individual personality
type.

Students and graduates may request a letter of reciprocity which will allow them
to use the Career Services Office at another ABA-accredited law school (subject to the
other school's reciprocity policy). You can view the reciprocity policies of other

advance of the student's/graduate's visit.
- The services will be available to a student/graduate for a three-month period. Extensions
beyond the three-month time frame must also be made in writing.
