Located at 148 Cambridge Street, the Suffolk University Athletic Center presents to the Suffolk University Community the opportunity to engage in a broad-based program of athletic, physical fitness, and recreational programming.

The regulation-size gymnasium allows for intercollegiate competition in both basketball and volleyball for the University's men's and women's programs, as well as two sides courts to accommodate intramural programs in both of those offerings. Aerobic and fitness classes will be available in addition to open gym times for those who desire less structured activity. It is anticipated that the hours between 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm on Monday through Friday will be designated for practice by the men’s and women’s varsity teams. Intramural team competition for undergraduates is slated from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm and for Law School activity between the hours of 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm The Student Bar Association conducts co-ed, intramural programming of volleyball in the fall and basketball in the winter.

The fitness center located on the second floor of the Ridgeway Building accommodates a wide range of fitness and cardiovascular equipment. The center houses 10 station Universal machines, 3 Challenger treadmills, 6 bicycles, 3 Alpine Stairmasters, 2 Concept II rowing machines, 13 Bodymaster circuit training equipment machines, plus numerous free weights, both barbell and Olympic.

All intercollegiate sports are governed by the rules and regulations of the National Collegiate Athletic Association.
