SUPPORT SERVICES DEPARTMENT
The Support Services department oversees a variety of functions in the Law School.
The Director, Janine LaFauci, has supervisory responsibilities for the staff assigned
to support the Law Faculty, student honor boards, and Copy Services. The
Director also serves as the Law School liaison to the Facilities Planning office for
the University. Any problems, concerns, questions, etc., regarding the condition of
the building should be sent to jlafauci@suffolk.edu.
The Support Services department is made up of one Director, one Coordinator, twelve
Faculty Assistants, and one Copy Services Coordinator. Together, we provide support
to over 85 full-time faculty, 100+ adjunct faculty, and five student honor boards (Moot
Court, Law Review, Transnational Law Review, Journal of Health and Biomedical Law and
Journal of High Technology Law). We also periodically provide assistance to other administrative
offices on a variety of special projects throughout the Law School.
In order to successfully accomplish our goals and provide support to such a large
and diverse group, every member of the Support Services team may be periodically called
on to help complete large projects or assist with special events and tasks, including
but not limited to proctoring exams during the Fall and Spring exam sessions.
Our goal is to be known for excellence by providing prompt, courteous and competent
services. We strive to make the working and educational environment pleasant and rewarding
for all!
