SCHOOL CLOSINGS
(SNOW / INCLEMENT WEATHER)
In case of snow, other inclement weather or other emergency closings:
1. When classes are delayed or cancelled, the cancellation will apply to the entire
University (College of Arts & Sciences, NESADSU, School of Management, and the Law
School) as well as the libraries and all other University activities (Student Affairs,
Performances, etc.) [For Athletic events, consult the Athletics Department website
at www.suffolk.edu/athletics or call
617-573-8379].
2. Announcements are communicated via the University main telephone line 617-573-8000,
the University’s home page at www.suffolk.edu and
by local television and radio stations, including:
3. In the event of a Delayed Opening, classes will begin, and administrative offices
will open, at 10am. Classes scheduled to begin prior to 10am will be cancelled for
the day.
4. For an Afternoon Closing, the normal ending time will be 4pm (no classes will begin
after 4pm), unless weather conditions require earlier closing.
5. Weekend and holiday closings or delays (libraries and events) will be handled in
the same manner as during the regular school week. |
