EVENTS AND ROOM RESERVATIONS

Suffolk University Law School features event and meeting facilities for both small and large groups. Conference facilities consist of a large function room, breakout rooms, a boardroom and many classrooms, all outfitted with today’s top technology. The latest audio visual equipment and menus will complete any event. All facilities are handicapped accessible and convenient to the downtown Boston area.


External Events

Administrators/Faculty/Staff who are coordinating an event for an outside party, or referring an external organization to the Law School facility, should contact the Event Coordinator, Patricia Gallagher in Room 160 (by phone: 617-573-8096 or ext. 8096 internally; by email: pgallagh@suffolk.edu). Please note: there are fees associated with room reservation, room setup/breakdown, media and other related services. Catering services must be coordinated and paid by the outside group. Faculty/Employees who wish to negotiate on behalf of an organization for reduced or waived fee(s) should contact the Dean’s Office before contacting the Event Coordinator.


Internal Events

Each department is responsible to organize/coordinate any departmental events. For assistance, please contact Patricia Gallagher, Law School Event Coordinator at ext. 8096 (Room 160).

Faculty who wish to schedule an event should contact the Support Services Coordinator, Shaylanna Hendricks in Room 270B (by phone: 617-573-8191 or ext. 8191 internally; by email: Shaylanna.hendricks@suffolk.edu). Request may be made verbally or by email and should include:

  • Contact information (Name, Office Location, Phone and Email)
  • Preferred Date(s) & Time(s), Second Choice Date(s) & Time(s)
  • Setup and Break-down Times (allow at least 1 hour prior to start for setup)
  • Number of Expected Participants/Guests
  • Preferred Room(s)
  • Second Choice Room(s)
  • Required Room Setup (theatre style, reception style, conference style)
  • Media Services Needed (podium, microphone, computer equipment)
  • Catering Services Required (Approval from Dean’s office is required)

*Please specify whether it is an internal or external event, if there is an outside group co-hosting the event or if it is being held in conjunction with another department or a student organization.

*Please note restrictions do apply to room availability.
