| The Multistate Performance Test is a test that is part of the state portion of the bar examination in a number of state bar examinations including Maine, New Hampshire, New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Vermont. The Multistate Performance Test is currently not part of the Masssachusetts bar examination.
The National Conference of Bar Examiners, which has developed this test, describes the test as follows:
"The Multistate Performance Test is designed to test an applicant's ability to use fundamental lawyering skills in a realistic situation...The materials...include a File and a Library. The File consists of source documents containing all the facts of the case. The specific assignment the applicant is to complete is described in a memorandum from a supervising attorney; a letter to a client; a persuasive memorandum or brief; a statement of facts; a contract provision; a will; a counseling plan; a proposal for settlement or agreement; a discovery plan; a witness examination plan; a closing argument."

MPT PREPARATION COURSE:
MPT Review course is offered each spring semester and will consist of
two half-day sessions on Saturdays. The MPT Reveiw program is offered to you without charge. Dates of the review classes will
