At a Faculty member’s request, classes can be recorded as an audio or video file. This is often done as a courtesy to students during religious holidays, but it is also done by some faculty to create a record of the course or to build an archive of recorded material that can be used for review by students.
These audio recordings can be posted as MP3 files either on Blackboard, Campus Cruiser, TWEN or as a class podcast through iTunes. In these formats, recordings are easily accessible only to class members, are very portable and can be played on any number of MP3 players. Faculty interested in using class recording should contact Media Services at 617.305.1600 or media.law@suffolk.edu
